Occidental Petroleum, OXY -2.83% Anadarko Petroleum, APC -2.93% Apache APA -3.09% and the U.K’s BG Group BG.LN -0.16% form what Robin West, founder of consultancy PFC Energy, calls the “million barrel club.” Each could reach output of one million barrels of oil equivalent per day by about 2018.
