NEW YORK (RealMoneyPro) — I have rarely been accused of being an economic/stock market cheerleader, but I believe the U.S. stock market will surprise to the upside in the near term for the following fundamental, technical and sentiment reasons:

I’m not one to mimic others but it’s important to remember that being out of the market in the best two months can handicap performance remarkably over a 12 month period.  January produced astounding returns, the S&P 500 up 4.48% YTD with dividends included.
